Take Rt. 8 North from Shelton towards Waterbury.
Stay on Rt. 8 North towards Torrington.
Continue on Rt. 8 North and take last exit (Highway Ends) to Rt. 44
(Main St.) Winsted.
Go left on to Rt. 44 East (Main St.) toward New Hartford.
Follow Rt. 44 East through New Hartford Center.
Continue on Rt. 44 East through Pine Meadow.
After Pine Meadow there will be Prestige Cleaners on your left.
Continue on Rt. 44 East passing a condominium complex (River Run) on your left.
Main Stream Canoe will be on your left.
(Main Stream Canoe is 7.3 miles. from Winsted.)

If you see Marandino Foods on your right, you have gone too far. Turn around and Main Stream Canoe is 1000 feet on your right.
